How to BumAlong

Choose Apple Music, Spotify, or audio on your device. Press Record, play your song, and tap or hold the big button to perform. Stop, go back to the start, and press Replay to hear your performance land on the same beats. ⬇ downloads your performance only, never the song. Or tap the mic at the top and hum: each note you hum becomes a sound on the timeline. Live pitch follow moves the sound with your voice while you hold the button. On iPhone, Safari cannot open the Music app library, so pick songs saved in Files or use Apple Music.

Apple Music setup needed

BumAlong is ready for MusicKit, but the deployed app still needs a valid Apple Music developer token. Add a secure /api/apple-music-token endpoint or inject a short-lived token at deploy time.

Spotify comes later

Spotify remains visible as a planned source, but BumAlong will not claim playback access until the integration meets Spotify platform requirements.
